"Thanks for the encouragement. I am in a real funk. I feel lost and totally alone. The whole notion of everlasting life even heaven for that matter is asking too much. I simply want to be with someone. "
-
"Elaina, you need to come out to a meeting whenever you get a chance. It is a VERY hard and lonely road unless u can talk to people who have been there. To me the WT was everything, but i'm more alive now then I have ever been. We are here for you, come n share n own your life."
-
"Hey ALex, I think that you've written me,not sure. I just want to urge you to go to a meeting whenever you get a chance I was really scared to go alone but a friend of mine who is still a JW wanted to check it out so we went and it was so worth it. No one else can understand what an ex-jw goes through except another ex-jw. There is no converting nor bashing. It's all about sharing and how we've healed. Look forward seeing u there soon."
-
"No I don't. Let me tell ya Bill, at times I feel paranoid and livid about organized religion. I take some comfort knowing that I will not be able to comprehend death. But man I miss some of the members, some , not all."
-
"Hi Alex. You will meet people who are not sure. Do you know Emma?"
-
"I am here to communicate if you want. alex- surv1vor61202@yahoo.com"
-
"i too am lost. i am here for you."
-
"Hey Amy, I am fairly new myself. I too need some one to talk to. I am here for you also."
-
"Hi! My name is Alex. I am not disfellowshipped or inactive. However, I am unsure of some of the WT teachings. I just need some support."
-
"Hello my name is Fernando"
-
"Hi, Kali, I hope you can attend our next meeting on April 27. Please call or email me if you have any questions before then. Looking forward to meeting you. Carol"
-
"Hi... I'm really just researching everything...."
-
"Well, I'm not considered in Ex-JW yet but I'm no longer interested in going along with what others say or interested in doing something I no longer believe in. Wish it was that easy to say to others but we all know what results we'll get. "
-
""Hello! Glad to see there are other "survivors" and hope to meet people that share the feelings that I have gone through with the detatchment of such a religion that takes over so many lives. I have been out for 4 years now. And Happy!""
-
"Was very active JW. I am currently writing my letter of dissaciation and feel completly lost. I would like to talk with others who have been in my shoes and can help me through this hard transistion."
-
"Hoping to meet some people with similar experiences and backgrounds. I am now an atheist. I try not to witness-bash as I still have family members in the religion. Looking forward to meeting some of you."
-
"I was raised a Witness since birth and left about a year ago. I became fully convinced of the utter untruth of "The Truth" and am interested in giving and receiving support to those who are feeling the effects of having to reorganize and rebuild life"
-
"Slid slowly out in the 70s and *finally* found personal spiritual connection again about a year ago. Would appreciate some input on life in the Truth currently. Dad lives with me and is back in after disfellowship. Interested in sharing."
-
"Meetup was nice. Interesting people had good conversation. Now I know I'm right not to have a cat. We ate the most delecate snacks. Including chocklate. I saw a movie named "Choclalate." ..."
-
""Hello , My name is Randy . I disassociated myself in 1997 . Life is wonderful now . Would love to meet other Ex Jws . rmendoza24@cox.net" "
-
"I saw the address number come loose when the JW's knocked, 669 became 666. I knew at that point it would be a good movie. It's ten minutes long, and this puts it out of reach for people with dial-up..."
