The San Diego Ex-Jehovah's Witness Meetup Group“ I have gotten emails from other members warning me that Carol is a Christian and how she left one so called "truth" for another so called "truth" and to just be aware of that. I can see how that would be scary for a new ex-jw. You don't want to convert, you want support. I think that on the discription of this group it should be noted that the group is not trying to convert anyone to anything. That it really is there to support each other and that if that person is READY to investigate christianity and learn the differences from the WT that they also have that help. I think that is what keeps people from going. I was afraid that there was going to be JW bashing or that I was going to feel pressured to convert to some religion, but it is not like that at all and I think that the group needs to clearify that. Thank you Carol so much! ”
