Hi everyone, i signed up on the link-up site, but there aren`t any members, everytime i did a search, it came up with none, and that was age group 18 - 99! Am i doing something wrong? Is that the only site for ex`s to meet? I agree about the way they are dressed in the pic tho`, too formal.

thank you sarah, for the happy/welcome face. thanks for the smile. p.s. to Dianne: I tried that xjw site too. I didn't get any results either - thought I was doing something wrong there, but now that I see you had the same thing, I'm thinking maybe you have to sign up and pay first before it gives results? Would be nice if we could know that somehow before paying... anyway, I might give it another try and see what happens. Not tonight though, not feeling well. Have to go now. anyway... off to sleep (I hope!)

Hey ladies and gents, an xjw dating can be started here. Just go to meet-ups or make arrangements here for meeting up with groups first. If someone finds someone else in the group attractive they can take it from there. When I went to the ex-jw meeting in Jersey, there were a lot of attractive people and some hooked up afterwards. Many were very honest about themselves. One very attractive married young women came straight out and said that she wanted out of her marriage and was seeking for someone else. So I think that places like these and meet-ups can be the start of meeting the person of your love life.

Not sure for certain, but don't think I know Lyd. Hogtown is fine (um... I feel stupid, but I've never heard that expression.. (!) I assume it's short for Toronto?)

Hi Vivredejoie!

I think Brad aka Twitch was refering to me! lol , I didnt catch on as I thought he was refering to another Lyd.

I've never lived in TO, but have lived in Mississauga most of my life. We might know oneanother, you never know! I have found that the world can be a small place, especially now that the internet is here....if there is a way to know....maybe I'll post a photograph, and see if you recognise me....tongue

Hi folks! It's been a while since I posted.

I have to agree that telling "worldly" people your JW story is like trying to describe colors to a blind person. There's no quick way to communicate to them the mind control and isolation without sounding like you're embellishing the story.

That picture at the dating site looks awfully familiar. I think it's from a JW publication. shock

I've always thought that an ex-JW dating site would be pretty cool. I wouldn't mind dating an ex at all. I think in the back of my mind that is what I would prefer too. I think it's a combination of the brain washing and the fact that that person would know me like no other, no explanation necessary. I think the mental support and connection with each other would be amazing.

I know for me I've never fully let myself go with any of the girls I've dated on the outside. Guess I've always been holding out for a sexy ex-jw girl.

I wish the guy developing it would get on the ball and finish it already. Are there any other sites that people know about?
